Popular singers/musicians your friends love that you *secretly dislike*...?
They get good reviews, their songs are dominating the music charts, but you just couldn't connect with them, no matter how hard you try. You don't hate them, you just can't relate to their musical styles.
For me, it's Leona Lewis. I just don't connect with her songs. Amazing voice, though.
My Chemical Romance. My friends go gaga with this bad. I've seen their concert and all. and I bought thier cds. MCR rocks! and although I listen to this genre, I just can't connect with this band.
However, after a year of eardrum breaking sessions with my ipod with MCR, I've learn to like them.
I can't connect with L. Lewis either.. but when I saw this japanese singing it on you tube who had a diferent version of bleeding love, I learned to like the song, and eventuallly liked L.Lewis after listening to it several times.
I agree with LAURI IS HERE. You learn to like a song or an artist when everybody already hates it haha!
