Lyrics Tinchy Stryder Number One
Uk Music Scene and Charts: Do you see any appeal in the style of song which is no 1 now: Tinchy Stryder's one?
The amount of times i hear a song which is a great song, musically superb and has amazingly meaningful lyrics and the highest it gets to is say number 4 or 5 and at number 1 there is yet another rapper (another dizzee rascal so to speak) who hits the top and the song isn't that lyrically good......it just bemuses me!!
how do you feel about the number 1 at the moment. that Tinchy Stryder tune and what are your general views these days regarding what people out there in thew UK view as great music??

i think it even confuses Tinchy when he sings in the chorus:
"See i don’t understand how you’re number one"
Most people don't download or buy a song because of the lyrics, they buy it because its catchy, with a good tune, they like they artist or its they kind of genre they listen to. The charts are based on the amount of times they song has been purchased, and that's why its songs like those that reach the top. We live in a time of superficial individuals, who jump will jump on the bandwagon for almost anything now. Glad to see there's another person who thinks the same way as me
